While Elisha remains, as it were, in the background in the chapters which provide details of Jehu's reign, we can see how this man was raised up to accomplish God's will in the events that seem to flow along naturally. We are able to see the ways of Providence at work, so we must take heart for our own troubled days.
John Wilson [Toronto West (Can)] Comment added in 2005 Reply to John
Contrast the behaviour of David with that of Jehu. Both were anointed king while another king was still reigning. David treated Saul with deference, even though he had the chance to kill him on more than one occasion.
Here, we see Jehu having no compunction in killing the King of Israel (and also the King of Judah). Of course, Jehu had a divine mandate to purge the house of Ahab; while David had no divine mandate to purge the house of Saul.

2 Cor. 5:1-4 -
There appear to be 3 distinct conditions in Paul's analogy here -
1) clothed with an earthly tent
2) clothed with a heavenly dwelling
3) naked
What did he mean by each of these terms? (The first two seem pretty clear; the last more problematic.)
1. This has to be our present mortality.
2. This then must be the new nature - immortality. And it's called a heavenly dwelling due to the fact that it currently is in heaven with God and Jesus and will be bestowed to the faithful when Jesus returns from heaven. Rev. 22:12 has Jesus saying -
"Behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every one according to his work."
3. This is the more difficult one to interpret, I would think. It seems to me he could be saying one of two things: A) either one could fall away from the Truth or B) he could be found unworthy to receive eternal life at the judgment seat of Christ.
A) If the first, then the "clothing" that took place when he believed and was baptized into Christ (see
Gal 3:26-29, especially v. 27 - "For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.") was removed due to his actions. "Nakedness" going back to Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden seems to be a consistent Biblical symbol of sin that is not covered by the proper God-provided covering. The Laodicean ecclesia was informed by Jesus that they were naked (
Rev 3:17) and exhorted in v. 18 -
"...buy from me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see."
Also the Roman brethren who were technically "in Christ" through baptism still needed the exhortation "to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts."
B) If the second - being found unworthy at the day of judgment - then that makes some sense as well, for Paul soon after this statement says in v. 10 -
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad."
Of course, it may not be an either/or thing, for the first inevitably will lead to the second if there is no lasting repentance.

1. And Elisha <477> the prophet <5030> called <7121>(8804) one <259> of the children <1121> of the prophets <5030>, and said <559>(8799) unto him, Gird up <2296>(8798) thy loins <4975>, and take <3947>(8798) this box <6378> of oil <8081> in thine hand <3027>, and go <3212>(8798) to Ramothgilead <7433> <1568>:
2. And when thou comest <935>(8804) thither, look out <7200>(8798) there Jehu <3058> the son <1121> of Jehoshaphat <3092> the son <1121> of Nimshi <5250>, and go in <935>(8804), and make him arise up <6965>(8689) from among <8432> his brethren <251>, and carry <935>(8689) him to an inner <2315> chamber <2315>;
3. Then take <3947>(8804) the box <6378> of oil <8081>, and pour <3332>(8804) it on his head <7218>, and say <559>(8804), Thus saith <559>(8804) the LORD <3068>, I have anointed <4886>(8804) thee king <4428> over Israel <3478>. Then open <6605>(8804) the door <1817>, and flee <5127>(8804), and tarry <2442>(8762) not.
4. So the young man <5288>, even the young man <5288> the prophet <5030>, went <3212>(8799) to Ramothgilead <7433> <1568>.
5. And when he came <935>(8799), behold, the captains <8269> of the host <2428> were sitting <3427>(8802); and he said <559>(8799), I have an errand <1697> to thee, O captain <8269>. And Jehu <3058> said <559>(8799), Unto which of all us? And he said <559>(8799), To thee, O captain <8269>.
6. And he arose <6965>(8799), and went <935>(8799) into the house <1004>; and he poured <3332>(8799) the oil <8081> on his head <7218>, and said <559>(8799) unto him, Thus saith <559>(8804) the LORD <3068> God <430> of Israel <3478>, I have anointed <4886>(8804) thee king <4428> over the people <5971> of the LORD <3068>, even over Israel <3478>.
7. And thou shalt smite <5221>(8689) the house <1004> of Ahab <256> thy master <113>, that I may avenge <5358>(8765) the blood <1818> of my servants <5650> the prophets <5030>, and the blood <1818> of all the servants <5650> of the LORD <3068>, at the hand <3027> of Jezebel <348>.
8. For the whole house <1004> of Ahab <256> shall perish <6>(8804): and I will cut off <3772>(8689) from Ahab <256> him that pisseth <8366>(8688) against the wall <7023>, and him that is shut up <6113>(8803) and left <5800>(8803) in Israel <3478>:
9. And I will make <5414>(8804) the house <1004> of Ahab <256> like the house <1004> of Jeroboam <3379> the son <1121> of Nebat <5028>, and like the house <1004> of Baasha <1201> the son <1121> of Ahijah <281>:
10. And the dogs <3611> shall eat <398>(8799) Jezebel <348> in the portion <2506> of Jezreel <3157>, and there shall be none to bury <6912>(8802) her. And he opened <6605>(8799) the door <1817>, and fled <5127>(8799).
11. Then Jehu <3058> came forth <3318>(8804) to the servants <5650> of his lord <113>: and one said <559>(8799) unto him, Is all well <7965>? wherefore came <935>(8804) this mad <7696>(8794) fellow to thee? And he said <559>(8799) unto them, Ye know <3045>(8804) the man <376>, and his communication <7879>.
12. And they said <559>(8799), It is false <8267>; tell <5046>(8685) us now. And he said <559>(8799), Thus and thus spake <559>(8804) he to me, saying <559>(8800), Thus saith <559>(8804) the LORD <3068>, I have anointed <4886>(8804) thee king <4428> over Israel <3478>.
13. Then they hasted <4116>(8762), and took <3947>(8799) every man <376> his garment <899>, and put <7760>(8799) it under him on the top <1634> of the stairs <4609>, and blew <8628>(8799) with trumpets <7782>, saying <559>(8799), Jehu <3058> is king <4427>(8804).
14. So Jehu <3058> the son <1121> of Jehoshaphat <3092> the son <1121> of Nimshi <5250> conspired <7194>(8691) against Joram <3141>. (Now Joram <3141> had kept <8104>(8802) Ramothgilead <7433> <1568>, he and all Israel <3478>, because <6440> of Hazael <2371> king <4428> of Syria <758>.
15. But king <4428> Joram <3088> was returned <7725>(8799) to be healed <7495>(8692) in Jezreel <3157> of the wounds <4347> which the Syrians <761> had given <5221>(8686) him, when he fought <3898>(8736) with Hazael <2371> king <4428> of Syria <758>.) And Jehu <3058> said <559>(8799), If it be <3426> your minds <5315>, then let none <408> go forth <3318>(8799) nor escape <6412> out of the city <5892> to go <3212>(8800) to tell <5046>(8687) it in Jezreel <3157>.
16. So Jehu <3058> rode in a chariot <7392>(8799), and went <3212>(8799) to Jezreel <3157>; for Joram <3141> lay <7901>(8802) there. And Ahaziah <274> king <4428> of Judah <3063> was come down <3381>(8804) to see <7200>(8800) Joram <3141>.
17. And there stood <5975>(8802) a watchman <6822>(8802) on the tower <4026> in Jezreel <3157>, and he spied <7200>(8799) the company <8229> of Jehu <3058> as he came <935>(8800), and said <559>(8799), I see <7200>(8802) a company <8229>. And Joram <3088> said <559>(8799), Take <3947>(8798) an horseman <7395>, and send <7971>(8798) to meet <7125>(8800) them, and let him say <559>(8799), Is it peace <7965>?
18. So there went <3212>(8799) one on horseback <7392>(8802) <5483> to meet <7125>(8800) him, and said <559>(8799), Thus saith <559>(8804) the king <4428>, Is it peace <7965>? And Jehu <3058> said <559>(8799), What hast thou to do with peace <7965>? turn <5437>(8798) thee behind <310> me. And the watchman <6822>(8802) told <5046>(8686), saying <559>(8800), The messenger <4397> came <935>(8804) to them, but he cometh not again <7725>(8804).
19. Then he sent out <7971>(8799) a second <8145> on horseback <7392>(8802) <5483>, which came <935>(8799) to them, and said <559>(8799), Thus saith <559>(8804) the king <4428>, Is it peace <7965>? And Jehu <3058> answered <559>(8799), What hast thou to do with peace <7965>? turn <5437>(8798) thee behind <310> me.
20. And the watchman <6822>(8802) told <5046>(8686), saying <559>(8800), He came <935>(8804) even unto them, and cometh not again <7725>(8804): and the driving <4491> is like the driving <4491> of Jehu <3058> the son <1121> of Nimshi <5250>; for he driveth <5090>(8799) furiously <7697>.
21. And Joram <3088> said <559>(8799), Make ready <631>(8798). And his chariot <7393> was made ready <631>(8799). And Joram <3088> king <4428> of Israel <3478> and Ahaziah <274> king <4428> of Judah <3063> went out <3318>(8799), each <376> in his chariot <7393>, and they went out <3318>(8799) against <7125>(8800) Jehu <3058>, and met <4672>(8799) him in the portion <2513> of Naboth <5022> the Jezreelite <3158>.
22. And it came to pass, when Joram <3088> saw <7200>(8800) Jehu <3058>, that he said <559>(8799), Is it peace <7965>, Jehu <3058>? And he answered <559>(8799), What peace <7965>, so long as <5704> the whoredoms <2183> of thy mother <517> Jezebel <348> and her witchcrafts <3785> are so many <7227>?
23. And Joram <3088> turned <2015>(8799) his hands <3027>, and fled <5127>(8799), and said <559>(8799) to Ahaziah <274>, There is treachery <4820>, O Ahaziah <274>.
24. And Jehu <3058> drew a bow <7198> with his full <4390>(8765) strength <3027>, and smote <5221>(8686) Jehoram <3088> between his arms <2220>, and the arrow <2678> went out <3318>(8799) at his heart <3820>, and he sunk down <3766>(8799) in his chariot <7393>.
25. Then said <559>(8799) Jehu to Bidkar <920> his captain <7991>, Take up <5375>(8798), and cast <7993>(8685) him in the portion <2513> of the field <7704> of Naboth <5022> the Jezreelite <3158>: for remember <2142>(8798) how that, when I and thou rode <7392>(8802) together <6776> after <310> Ahab <256> his father <1>, the LORD <3068> laid <5375>(8804) this burden <4853> upon him;
26. Surely I have seen <7200>(8804) yesterday <570> the blood <1818> of Naboth <5022>, and the blood <1818> of his sons <1121>, saith <5002>(8803) the LORD <3068>; and I will requite <7999>(8765) thee in this plat <2513>, saith <5002>(8803) the LORD <3068>. Now therefore take <5375>(8798) and cast <7993>(8685) him into the plat <2513> of ground, according to the word <1697> of the LORD <3068>.
27. But when Ahaziah <274> the king <4428> of Judah <3063> saw <7200>(8804) this, he fled <5127>(8799) by the way <1870> of the garden <1588> house <1004>. And Jehu <3058> followed <7291>(8799) after <310> him, and said <559>(8799), Smite <5221>(8685) him also in the chariot <4818>. And they did so at the going up <4608> to Gur <1483>, which is by Ibleam <2991>. And he fled <5127>(8799) to Megiddo <4023>, and died <4191>(8799) there.
28. And his servants <5650> carried <7392>(8686) him in a chariot to Jerusalem <3389>, and buried <6912>(8799) him in his sepulchre <6900> with his fathers <1> in the city <5892> of David <1732>.
29. And in the eleventh <259> <6240> <8141> year <8141> of Joram <3141> the son <1121> of Ahab <256> began Ahaziah <274> to reign <4427>(8804) over Judah <3063>.
30. And when Jehu <3058> was come <935>(8799) to Jezreel <3157>, Jezebel <348> heard <8085>(8804) of it; and she painted <7760>(8799) <6320> her face <5869>, and tired <3190>(8686) her head <7218>, and looked out <8259>(8686) at a window <2474>.
31. And as Jehu <3058> entered in <935>(8804) at the gate <8179>, she said <559>(8799), Had Zimri <2174> peace <7965>, who slew <2026>(8802) his master <113>?
32. And he lifted up <5375>(8799) his face <6440> to the window <2474>, and said <559>(8799), Who is on my side? who? And there looked out <8259>(8686) to him two <8147> or three <7969> eunuchs <5631>.
33. And he said <559>(8799), Throw her down <8058>(8798). So they threw her down <8058>(8799): and some of her blood <1818> was sprinkled <5137>(8799) on the wall <7023>, and on the horses <5483>: and he trode her under foot <7429>(8799).
34. And when he was come in <935>(8799), he did eat <398>(8799) and drink <8354>(8799), and said <559>(8799), Go <6485>(8798), see now this cursed <779>(8803) woman, and bury <6912>(8798) her: for she is a king's <4428> daughter <1323>.
35. And they went <3212>(8799) to bury <6912>(8800) her: but they found <4672>(8804) no more of her than <518> the skull <1538>, and the feet <7272>, and the palms <3709> of her hands <3027>.
36. Wherefore they came again <7725>(8799), and told <5046>(8686) him. And he said <559>(8799), This is the word <1697> of the LORD <3068>, which he spake <1696>(8765) by <3027> his servant <5650> Elijah <452> the Tishbite <8664>, saying <559>(8800), In the portion <2506> of Jezreel <3157> shall dogs <3611> eat <398>(8799) the flesh <1320> of Jezebel <348>:
37. And the carcase <5038> of Jezebel <348> shall be as dung <1828> upon the face <6440> of the field <7704> in the portion <2506> of Jezreel <3157>; so that they shall not say <559>(8799), This is Jezebel <348>.
Notes that are not verse specific
Whilst the language of Lamentations is poetical the horror of the narrative should be clear in our minds. Do not view the events recorded as poetic language. Whilst it is poetical in nature it describes what actually took place. Look in your marginal references to see how Jeremiah is relating events that had taken place during the time of his prophecy.
Peter Forbes [Mountsorrel (UK)] Comment added in 2001 Reply to Peter
Jeremiah's account, in Ch.5, of the atrocities that took place in Jerusalem is shocking. The outrage would be repeated on a grander scale in 70 AD when one million Jews would be killed.
However, the worst is yet to happen, when the northern host invades Israel to crush it (Zech 13:8). Jerusalem will be devastated (Zech 14:2). At that time the city will be larger, and the population much greater, than the first two invasions. Daniel says that the trouble then will be worse than ever before (Dan 12:1).
Thankfully, the returned Jesus will intervene to save His people (Zech 14:3). And so, Jeremiah's description of the ravages of the 6th. century BC can only attune our sensibilities to the future offensive.

Notes that are not verse specific
5:5-7 The Holy Spirit gifts in the first century were a token of that which is to come. However in Corinth, and probably elsewhere, believers placed far more emphasis on those gifts than they did not living an acceptable life.
Paul emphasises the transient nature of the gifts with the word “earnest”.

1. Do we begin <756>(5731) again <3825> to commend <4921>(5721) ourselves <1438>? or need we <5535>(5719), <1508> as <5613> some <5100> others, epistles <1992> of commendation <4956> to <4314> you <5209>, or <2228> letters of commendation <4956> from <1537> you <5216>?
2. Ye <5210> are <2075>(5748) our <2257> epistle <1992> written <1449>(5772) in <1722> our <2257> hearts <2588>, known <1097>(5746) and <2532> read <314>(5746) of <5259> all <3956> men <444>:
3. Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared <5319>(5746) to <3754> be <2075>(5748) the epistle <1992> of Christ <5547> ministered <1247>(5685) by <5259> us <2257>, written <1449>(5772) not <3756> with ink <3188>, but <235> with the Spirit <4151> of the living <2198>(5723) God <2316>; not <3756> in <1722> tables <4109> of stone <3035>, but <235> in <1722> fleshy <4560> tables <4109> of the heart <2588>.
4. And <1161> such <5108> trust <4006> have we <2192>(5719) through <1223> Christ <5547> to <4314> God-ward <2316>:
5. Not <3756> that <3754> we are <2070>(5748) sufficient <2425> of <575> ourselves <1438> to think <3049>(5664) any thing <5100> as <5613> of <1537> ourselves <1438>; but <235> our <2257> sufficiency <2426> is of <1537> God <2316>;
6. Who <3739> also <2532> hath made <2427> <0> us <2248> able <2427>(5656) ministers <1249> of the new <2537> testament <1242>; not <3756> of the letter <1121>, but <235> of the spirit <4151>: for <1063> the letter <1121> killeth <615>(5719), but <1161> the spirit <4151> giveth life <2227>(5719).
7. But <1161> if <1487> the ministration <1248> of death <2288>, written <1722> <1121> and engraven <1795>(5772) in <1722> stones <3037>, was <1096>(5675) glorious <1722> <1391>, so <5620> that the children <5207> of Israel <2474> could <1410>(5738) not <3361> stedfastly behold <816>(5658) the face <1519> <4383> of Moses <3475> for <1223> the glory <1391> of his <846> countenance <4383>; which <3588> glory was to be done away <2673>(5746):
8. How <4459> shall <1248> <0> not <3780> the ministration <1248> of the spirit <4151> be <2071>(5704) rather <3123> <1722> glorious <1391>?
9. For <1063> if <1487> the ministration <1248> of condemnation <2633> be glory <1391>, much <4183> more <3123> doth the ministration <1248> of righteousness <1343> exceed <4052>(5719) in <1722> glory <1391>.
10. For <1063> even <2532> that which was made glorious <1392>(5769) had no <3761> glory <1392>(5772) in <1722> this <5129> respect <3313>, by reason <1752> of the glory <1391> that excelleth <5235>(5723).
11. For <1063> if <1487> that which is done away <2673>(5746) was glorious <1223> <1391>, much <4183> more <3123> that which remaineth <3306>(5723) is glorious <1722> <1391>.
12. Seeing then <3767> that we have <2192>(5723) such <5108> hope <1680>, we use <5530>(5736) great <4183> plainness of speech <3954>:
13. And <2532> not <3756> as <2509> Moses <3475>, which put <5087>(5707) a vail <2571> over <1909> his <1438> face <4383>, that <4314> the children <5207> of Israel <2474> could <816> <0> not <3361> stedfastly look <816>(5658) to <1519> the end <5056> of that which is abolished <2673>(5746):
14. But <235> their <846> minds <3540> were blinded <4456>(5681): for <1063> until <891> this day <4594> remaineth <3306>(5719) the same <846> vail <2571> untaken <3361> away <343>(5746) in <1909> the reading <320> of the old <3820> testament <1242>; which <3748> vail is done away <2673>(5743) in <1722> Christ <5547>.
15. But <235> even <2193> unto this day <4594>, when <2259> Moses <3475> is read <314>(5743), the vail <2571> is upon <2749>(5736) <1909> their <846> heart <2588>.
16. Nevertheless <1161> when <2259> it <302> shall turn <1994>(5661) to <4314> the Lord <2962>, the vail <2571> shall be taken away <4014>(5743).
17. Now <1161> the Lord <2962> is <2076>(5748) that Spirit <4151>: and <1161> where <3757> the Spirit <4151> of the Lord <2962> is, there <1563> is liberty <1657>.
18. But <1161> we <2249> all <3956>, with open <343>(5772) face <4383> beholding as in a glass <2734>(5734) the glory <1391> of the Lord <2962>, are changed <3339>(5743) into the same <846> image <1504> from <575> glory <1391> to <1519> glory <1391>, even as <2509> by <575> the Spirit <4151> of the Lord <2962>.
1. Therefore seeing <1223> <5124> we have <2192>(5723) this <5026> ministry <1248>, as <2531> we have received mercy <1653>(5681), we faint <1573>(5719) not <3756>;
2. But <235> have renounced <550>(5639) the hidden things <2927> of dishonesty <152>, not <3361> walking <4043>(5723) in <1722> craftiness <3834>, nor <3366> handling <1389> <0> the word <3056> of God <2316> deceitfully <1389>(5723); but <235> by manifestation <5321> of the truth <225> commending <4921>(5723) ourselves <1438> to <4314> every <3956> man's <444> conscience <4893> in the sight <1799> of God <2316>.
3. But <1161> if <1499> <2532> our <2257> gospel <2098> be <2076>(5748) hid <2572>(5772), it is <2076>(5748) hid <2572>(5772) to <1722> them that are lost <622>(5730):
4. In <1722> whom <3739> the god <2316> of this <5127> world <165> hath blinded <5186>(5656) the minds <3540> of them which believe not <571>, lest <1519> <3361> the light <5462> of the glorious <1391> gospel <2098> of Christ <5547>, who <3739> is <2076>(5748) the image <1504> of God <2316>, should shine <826>(5658) unto them <846>.
5. For <1063> we preach <2784>(5719) not <3756> ourselves <1438>, but <235> Christ <5547> Jesus <2424> the Lord <2962>; and <1161> ourselves <1438> your <5216> servants <1401> for <1223> <0> Jesus <2424>' sake <1223>.
6. For <3754> God <2316>, who <3588> commanded <2036>(5631) the light <5457> to shine <2989>(5658) out of <1537> darkness <4655>, hath shined <2989>(5656) in <1722> our <2257> hearts <2588>, to <4314> give the light <5462> of the knowledge <1108> of the glory <1391> of God <2316> in <1722> the face <4383> of Jesus <2424> Christ <5547>.
7. But <1161> we have <2192>(5719) this <5126> treasure <2344> in <1722> earthen <3749> vessels <4632>, that <2443> the excellency <5236> of the power <1411> may be <5600>(5753) of God <2316>, and <2532> not <3361> of <1537> us <2257>.
8. We are troubled <2346>(5746) on <1722> every side <3956>, yet <235> not <3756> distressed <4729>(5746); we are perplexed <639>(5734), but <235> not <3756> in despair <1820>(5740);
9. Persecuted <1377>(5746), but <235> not <3756> forsaken <1459>(5746); cast down <2598>(5746), but <235> not <3756> destroyed <622>(5730);
10. Always <3842> bearing about <4064>(5723) in <1722> the body <4983> the dying <3500> of the Lord <2962> Jesus <2424>, that <2443> the life <2222> also <2532> of Jesus <2424> might be made manifest <5319>(5686) in <1722> our <2257> body <4983>.
11. For we <2249> which <3588> live <2198>(5723) are <3860> <0> alway <104> <1063> delivered <3860>(5743) unto <1519> death <2288> for <1223> <0> Jesus <2424>' sake <1223>, that <2443> the life <2222> also <2532> of Jesus <2424> might be made manifest <5319>(5686) in <1722> our <2257> mortal <2349> flesh <4561>.
12. So <5620> then <3303> death <2288> worketh <1754>(5731) in <1722> us <2254>, but <1161> life <2222> in <1722> you <5213>.
13. <1161> We having <2192>(5723) the same <846> spirit <4151> of faith <4102>, according as <2596> it is written <1125>(5772), I believed <4100>(5656), and therefore <1352> have I spoken <2980>(5656); we <2249> also <2532> believe <4100>(5719), and <2532> therefore <1352> speak <2980>(5719);
14. Knowing <1492>(5761) that <3754> he which raised up <1453>(5660) the Lord <2962> Jesus <2424> shall raise up <1453>(5692) us <2248> also <2532> by <1223> Jesus <2424>, and <2532> shall present <3936>(5692) us with <4862> you <5213>.
15. For <1063> all things <3956> are for <1223> <0> your <5209> sakes <1223>, that <2443> the abundant <4121>(5660) grace <5485> might <4052> <0> through <1223> the thanksgiving <2169> of many <4119> redound <4052>(5661) to <1519> the glory <1391> of God <2316>.
16. For which cause <1352> we faint <1573>(5719) not <3756>; but <235> <2532> though <1499> our <2257> outward <1854> man <444> perish <1311>(5743), yet <235> the inward <2081> man is renewed <341>(5743) day <2250> by <2532> day <2250>.
17. For <1063> our <2257> light <1645> affliction <2347>, which <3588> is but for a moment <3910>, worketh <2716>(5736) for us <2254> a far <2596> <5236> more exceeding <1519> <5236> and eternal <166> weight <922> of glory <1391>;
18. While <4648> <0> we <2257> look <4648> <0> not <3361> at <4648>(5723) the things which are seen <991>(5746), but <235> at the things which are <991> <0> not <3361> seen <991>(5746): for <1063> the things which are seen <991>(5746) are temporal <4340>; but <1161> the things which are <991> <0> not <3361> seen <991>(5746) are eternal <166>.
